How to get involved

We need your participation!
Please get in touch if you, your business or your event would like to:
1. Contribute oral histories and vox-pop recordings to our time capsule 
2. Contribute to our photograph archive

1. Oral Histories and Vox Pop Recordings: 
We are keen to record stories from people in Digbeth, so please get in touch if you, your business or event would like to be involved: digbethspeaks@gmail.com.

2. Image Submissions:
- We are creating a digital image resource on the theme 'What does Digbeth mean to you?'. We would like you to submit your visual responses (photographs or digitally manipulated images) via email, Twitter or Facebook, which will then be uploaded to a Flickr album linked to the forthcoming Digbeth Speaks website.
   - Submit via email: digbethspeaks@gmail.com. Please provide the author's name and an optional caption of 50-60 words for each image. Images must be in JPEG format. Maximum file size: 2MB, maximum dimensions: 600 x 600 pixels.
   - Submit via Twitter: tweet your image using the hashtag #digbethspeaks and include your name within the tweet
   - Submit via Facebook: upload your image to our Facebook page with your name 

Disclaimer:
- The submitter confirms all images are original works. No indecent, defamatory or unlawful images will be accepted
- The copyright of the images will remain with the submitter.
- 'Digbeth Speaks' reserves the right to use and edit images and texts. We cannot guarantee all images will be used. The submitter also grants 'Digbeth Speaks' the right to use their images for promotional purpose.
Once uploaded to the 'Digbeth Speaks' image resource, the images will remain there unless the submitter requests there removal. Should the submitter wish to have their images removed at any point, we will make every effort to do so. However, 'Digbeth Speaks' has no control over the download and subsequent use of images by Internet users from the online resource, and therefore is not held responsible for such use.
- 'Digbeth Speaks' reserves the right to remove images at any time without prior warning.
